Two segments

| Notifications | In-app alerts (join requests, confirmations, event updates, and more) |
Unread counts appear as badges on the segments.
Open a chat
- Open Inbox → Messages.
- Optionally set a filter chip.
- Tap a conversation to open the thread.
Event detail can also open admin or attendee chat for that event when available (Android may show some chat entry points as coming soon).
Notifications list
- Open Inbox → Notifications.
- Tap an item to open the related event or screen when the app links it.
System push and email are separate channels — see Alerts you may receive.
