Private events and RSVP
Private events do not appear on the public Events list or Home “Picked” feed. Guests usually arrive by invite.
Who can open the detail page

Group calendars / upcoming lists for a group you belong to may still show private events for that group.
How to join (no Join button)
App Join is blocked for private events. Use one of these:

| Host adds you | Host uses Manage → Participants |
After you are a participant, you can check in when the event is live — see Check-in with QR.
Tips for hosts
- Create as private when you want invite-only guests.
- Send RSVP invites within your monthly invite quota (see Levels).
- Private events do not auto-start from the public schedule cron — start them from the app when ready.
