Create and host an event
How to create an event in the Bron mobile app and start inviting guests.

Who can create
| Host type | You need |

| Personal | Level 2+ |
| Business | Owner or Manager of that business |
| Group | Owner or Manager of that group |
Booths, zones, and area maps: personal hosts need level 5+. Business Owner/Manager can use them with business hosting rights.
Create an event
- Open Home, Events, or Groups.
- Tap the pink + button (bottom-right).
- If a menu appears, choose Create Event.
- Fill the form:
- Cover image
- Title (required)
- Hosted by — Personal / Business / Group (when you have more than one option)
- Organizer — required for Business or Group
- Category (required)
- Start / end date, time, and timezone
- Place (address search)
- Description
- Staff recruitment — optional
- Booths enabled — turn On if you will add booths or a floor map
- Options: accessibility tags, max capacity / waitlist, Public or Private, Require approval (Public only)
- Tap Create Event. The app opens the new event detail page.

Recruitment
- Many Public events start recruiting as soon as you create them.
- If guests cannot join yet:
- Open the event.
- Tap Open recruitment, or open Manage and set Attendee recruitment to On.
- To stop new joins: Close recruitment or set Attendee recruitment to Off.
- With Require approval on, approve people under Manage → Participants.
Manage hub
On the event detail page, tap Manage (hosts and managers). From here you can:
- Edit the event
- Turn Booths on/off
- Manage booths, zones, and area map
- Toggle Attendee / Staff recruitment
- Review Participants and team / operators
- Edit program and emergency notice

Dashboard
Business users can create events under Business → Events → Create in the Bron Dashboard. The same documentation is available from the events list help link and at docs.bron.events.
